Terms of service

Askedly: AI Visibility & GEO. Last updated 7 November 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs Askedly, and Snir Tam, Ehud Manor 19, Raanana 4334919, Israel (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Askedly you accept them. If you install it for a business, you confirm you may accept them for that business. Askedly is for businesses, not for personal or household use.

1. The service

Askedly is a Shopify app. It audits your store for AI assistants, prepares improvements to your product data and content and applies them only when you approve, asks AI assistants test prompts about what you sell and shows a sample of their answers, and reports the orders and visits that came from AI assistants. What each plan includes is shown on the app’s Plan page.

2. No guarantee of results

AI assistants and search engines are run by third parties who decide what they say and show. Their answers vary and change without notice. Prompt tracking is a sample of what assistants answered to test prompts, shown as ranges. It is not what every shopper sees. We do not promise that any store or product will be named, recommended, ranked, cited or sold, or that any change will alter an AI answer, a search result or your sales. Your GEO Score shows what AI assistants can read about your store; it is not a ranking.

3. Your store and your approvals

Askedly changes your store only when you approve a change. Much of what it prepares is written by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for checking it before you approve it, and for what you publish in your store, including that it is accurate and lawful. Applied changes can be undone in the app while it is installed, unless the same field was edited afterwards. You can download a backup before applying changes.

4. Plans, trial and billing

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Askedly to break the law or the terms of Shopify or the AI providers; to attack, overload or probe other websites or our systems; to copy, resell or offer it as your own service; to build a competing product from its output; or to get around its limits. Please do not put customers’ personal data into text you write in the app.

6. Your content and ours

Your store data and your content stay yours. You allow us to use them as far as needed to run Askedly for you, as described in these terms and the privacy policy. Text Askedly prepares for your store is yours to use once you apply it, but similar text may be produced for others. Askedly itself, including its software, design and name, stays ours. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

7. Third-party services

Askedly relies on Shopify, on AI providers (OpenAI on every plan, Perplexity on Growth and Enterprise, Anthropic on Enterprise) and on the other services listed in the privacy policy. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and we may change which providers we use. Askedly is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Shopify or any AI provider. Shopify is not a party to these terms.

8. Personal data and data processing

This section is our data processing agreement with you. For personal data in your store that Askedly handles for you (“your data”), you are the controller and we are your processor. Askedly is built to keep this to a minimum: it requests no customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses, and what it holds is described in the privacy policy. We will:

You authorise these subprocessors, and transfers of your data to the countries where they and we operate, including the United States and Israel. Where the law requires a transfer safeguard for such a transfer, the applicable standard contractual clauses or an equivalent lawful mechanism apply. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the data you ask us to process, and for your own privacy notice to your customers, including where your store asks for analytics consent. We do not sell your data, or use it to train AI models.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Askedly available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features, and we will try to give notice of a change that materially reduces what your plan includes.

10. Disclaimer

As far as the law allows, Askedly is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that it is fit for a particular purpose, or that its reports, scores, estimates or AI-written text are accurate or complete.

11. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, sales, traffic, goodwill or data. Our total liability for all claims about Askedly is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for Askedly in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.

12. Your responsibility to us

You will cover our reasonable losses and costs from a third-party claim caused by your content, what you publish in your store, or your breach of these terms, as long as we tell you promptly about the claim.

13. Ending this agreement

You can stop at any time by uninstalling Askedly. We may suspend or end your use if you materially break these terms, if we must by law, or if we stop offering Askedly, in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can. After it ends, your data is deleted as described in section 8, and changes you already applied stay in your store. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as 6, 10, 11, 12 and 15, continue.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you at least 30 days before a material change takes effect, by email or in the app. If you do not agree, you can uninstall before it takes effect; continuing to use Askedly after that means you accept it.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either of us may seek urgent relief in any competent court. This does not take away any rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded by agreement.

16. Other terms

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Askedly. If part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not giving it up. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it, including as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, and will tell you if we do. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
